Brent crude trading at $84.35/bbl

Crude oil futures declined by 2.68 per cent to Rs6,643 per barrel, as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On MCX, crude oil for November delivery fell Rs183 or 2.68 per cent to Rs6,643 per barrel with a business volume of 8,353 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 1.01 per cent lower at $80 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading down 0.97 per cent to $84.35 per barrel in New York.
